- Work on the movie is expected to begin soon – Production on the movie was supposed to begin in 2020, but with Covid-19 related production shutdowns, working has been delayed to 2021. However, Marvel recently announced that the delay is not expected to affect the movie’s release date.
So when is Guardians of the Galaxy 3 going to be released? As of now, Disney is yet to officially announce an exact release date, but some reports claim that the movie is expected to come out in 2022 and may be shifted forward to 2021 if production and post-production time gets shorter than expected.
