Star Citizen Alpha 3.18
Studio CIG reported that the launch of Star Citizen Alpha 3.18 is slightly delayed, as developers need more time to test the update. But now the developers are planning a release for January 2023.
All players will be able to try out the new content and technologies of Alpha 3.18 on test servers this week. And it will continue until the end of the holidays. Shortly after that, the patch will be released to the main servers in a couple of weeks, but the exact date has not yet been decided.
Star Citizen Alpha 3.18 will include four new locations, various gameplay activities will be added, including ship hull stripping, prison activities, and more. The update will add only one ship and that is Drake Vulture.
Star Citizen 3.18 will feature a 12th-generation scene renderer and improved content loading in terms of technology improvements. It is important to note that not everything may appear immediately at launch, some of the planned content and upgrades may be added in future patches for Alpha 3.18.
